The neat extra here is because I've installed Rockbox on this iPod and piggybacked the Bluetooth transmitter power from the accessory jack, I can turn Bluetooth on and off in software.
I'd call that success.
Time to revisit my Bluetooth iPod conversion, because while it works it can't be closed properly without glitching out a lot, because of a few things being under pressure and likely intermittently shorting out on the case.
Going to redo the wiring with much thinner wires, and remove the jumper from the compact flash board and just solder it closed instead.
Deltron 3030 is not an album that sounds like it's 25 years old.
