Once again I find myself about to journey into my childhood homelands and it's always a really fucking weird feeling.
Not staying long enough to make a Big Backyard followup video, unfortunately! I might be able to check on some stuff though. We'll see.
Partial success in repairing a broken CD player - or progress at least.
The load/unload mechanism works now! It was totally jammed when I got it and a piece of the tray assembly was rattling around inside. Fortunately all the pieces were present and I've managed to reattach it and strengthen it a little.
Now the disc is really hesitant about spinning so I've still got work to do.
I have blocked a few people in the last few days with the note "takes jokes seriously" which I think is the best thing for both parties.
How is it May already what is going on? Time is doing that thing again.
