Well, the disk moves I started earlier today have completed, so my home databases now use an SSD based storage pool in the cluster instead of spinning rust. Let's see if that helps the performance a bit.

I also do still need to get everything moved to the 10 gig network as well, but one thing at a time I guess.

This is very normal levels of odd jobs people do around their home, right?

Had my attention drawn to the fact that Teams has a setting to identify and filter out profanity from transcripts of meetings, and I wonder if the energy cost and subsequent environmental impact of enabling that in Australia might be excessive and irresponsible.
