Time to go outside and spray some water over wherever hasn't been reduced to ashes I guess.

Last night I got up to pee and on the way back to bed, actually saw the mouse that has been getting in disappearing up the hallway, running *right past* Meech who watched this happen from his spot by the bedroom door.

Do I need to sit him down with some Tom and Jerry cartoons or something?

Found a wandering caterpillar outside by the path who was about to either become birb food or get cooked. Sanctuary has been granted for the moment in the aquarium/greenhouse inside, we'll see how things are going when the temperature goes down after tomorrow.

I've picked a variety of leaves from various plants to see what little mate likes, assuming we're actually doing ok after whatever chain of events landed them out there today.
