Meech is consumed by ennui today. His bowl is full, his blankie has been fluffed up, the back door is open, and there is sunshine on the concrete. However, I cannot walk near the front of the house without him insisting that the front door needs to be opened for him.

Currently sitting around waiting for a pathologist to take some of my precious bodily fluids away so I can finally have breakfast and ALL THE COFFEE

I have risked purchasing a google phone again and happily so far I've still been able to uninstall the most egregiously intrusive stuff and swap to some more minimal apps.

At the moment it's looking and acting pretty much exactly like my old Moto so I think this'll be ok for a couple of years. 🤞

Shockingly this is the first time in ages I've actually been able to get a new phone that's physically smaller than my old one. It's been a while since that happened.

Got a good boy keeping me company in the office today, although he is currently occupying the spot where I was planning to eat lunch. We may have to negotiate, although I expect he'll join me when I start making noise in the kitchen.

Update: as a result of our intense negotiations, Meech rolled over onto his left side, and I ate lunch in the dining room.
