I finished A Thing! A new power supply for my Amiga 500, but Mean Well did the hard part really. I probably spent the most time on picking out a fancy sleeve for the power cable so I didn't get have Another Black Wire on the desk.
Now comes the scary part where I actually plug it into an Amiga, even though I've checked the voltages are on the right pins many, many times.
I kind of want to go out and look at trains but I just don't think I can people today. The eternal struggle.
Watching modern Commodore 64 demos from the last couple of years on a real C64, unmodified, is pretty mind blowing when you are very familiar with the limitations of the hardware in front of you.
To think not that this is possible now, but that it always was ...
