I have been using a circa-2020 M1 Macbook Air as a general "look things up and mess around" computer for a few weeks now and my considered opinion is that this is a Good Computer and I like it a lot.

A couple of weeks ago, we lost a good person

Suzanne Evas, who you likely didn't know (but it's entirely possible as she did *a lot* of stuff), left the planet unexpectedly in mid-November and it was a hell of a shock.

Suzanne produced my shows at the comedy festival in 2023 and I really liked getting to know her, as much as anyone did. It was a recurring thing at her funeral for people to realise how great the scope of her life was.

Anyway, you may not have known her but if you've got access to it, please watch the episode of Hard Quiz she was on (season 7, episode 20), and you'll maybe get an idea.

Oh good, I'm so tired of cheap cards with all the components pushed into a bit of cardboard.

Also I have some minor sniffles going on and I'm not sure if I'm just feeling crappy because it's cold or if I'm actually slightly unwell.

Either way, I keep feeling like I just want to crawl under a pile of blankets and try again tomorrow, but I got up and have obtained a cup of coffee so let's see how it goes.

It is the first day of December and I've given up and turned the heating on.
