Extremely rough night's sleep, I kept waking up from wild and disturbing dreams. I remember one where I was in the back seat of a car being driven by my father, and we were going much too fast and barely in control, sliding around on wet roads. I was yelling at him constantly to stop the car, just stop, and eventually he did ... so I made him get out and let me drive.

I'm sure there's no meaning to interpret there. Just random brain noises. Maybe something I ate yesterday.

Listening to the tape while pickling cucumbers. It sounds like arse -- but that's the point. It needs to sound like the *right kind of arse* which is very important.

I need to decide if any other copies will come from digital sources or if they'll all be second generation from here on.

The cassette version of the album is important, it's the reason why it exists, but it's also kind of a joke that I don't expect to actually be listened to much, but I'd like it to not be total audio garbage.

I really wish I had a car with a tape player in it.
