I was at the pub having dinner with a colleague, mentioned messing about with old consoles and emulators in passing. Was highly aware I had my Game Dad in my bag, but thought it would be a bit much to pull that out.

Anyway, said colleague then pulled out *his* Game Dad.

I'm working for the right company.

Going to head to the pub and wait for all this to blow over.

Who here can tell me if asking large groups of people to answer random rhetorical questions on the topic that you're supposed to be teaching them about is effective or just leads to long, frequent silences and people tuning out?

Pleased to report that I have been issued a red cap with white text on the front after joining a group that orders people around, and I welcome the many challenges of the role.

My initial impressions of Game Dad are very good if you're an experienced nerd prepared to screw around with firmware changes and honestly isn't that the exact target market here?

My only regret is thinking "no wireless connectivity would be a positive actually" and I mostly stand by that but Bluetooth audio would have been nice so I could play things on the train without bringing an extra wire.
