It's a bit sad that this is probably the final Chinwag Social release in its current form. I've really liked what we've managed to pull together here so far, but the last couple of years it's definitely been down to @TangerineUI doing the heavy lifting.

The default Mastodon experience has improved a lot since I first got so pissed off at it that I forked the damn thing 8 years ago, for sure, and I wouldn't need to do the same thing today ... but there are some other minor things we've got in Chinwag now that I would like to see carried on.

Time for a good think.
