@lardmotel what was the "Since the Accident Technical Reference" mentioned on the back cover to send away for? Trying to search for this now just returns documents for pet food manufacturing safety standards and the address just shows on Google maps as a hazy mist from another dimension, which is pretty cool and disturbing.

I am preparing for the inevitable collapse of Wikipedia by simply learning every fact I will ever need to know during my lifetime right now.

Today at work I unplugged a thing that none of us previously dared to unplug, as it was held together with string and magic and hope.

Anyway, I untangled the mess a bit and it started up again just fine. I will not live in fear of the machines. They should fear me.

Once again hopefully buying a lottery ticket in the hopes that I can one day afford to hire a personal DBA and never have to think about databases ever again.
