Bremen Saki?
Bremen Saki is an anagram of my name; Mike Barnes. I like it. I've been looking for a new alias for a while, since I got sick of using Strepsil about a decade ago.
Strepsil?
Strepsil was the short version of Strepsil van Bits. See, back in 1992 or so, I was driving down the road one day, and stopped behind a small van that had a sticker on the back advertising a business called "Van Bits". I thought that sounded more like an exotic surname than a business name, and then a tram went past with an ad for Strepsils on the side.
The pieces fell together and I had a BBS username. It stuck, for lack of anything better coming to mind.
Who?
I suppose it's possible that you've stumbled upon this site and have no idea who I am. I'm not sure how to help you, really. I suppose the most obvious things to mention are that I'm a single dad with a five year old daughter, I work in IT, and I wish I was more creative than I am.
